Union worker support
In, 2003, Tony not only voted for, but CO-AUTHORED a bill with Senate President
John Burton to require binding arbitration be used by California counties and cities.
According to the (in our opinion flawed) analysis by the
League of California Cities, SB440 would:
*Cause labor costs to spiral upwards;
*Give more power to the most powerful employee unions;
*Permit employee groups to select arbitration on individual
issues, rather than total package arbitration.

And don't believe
the nay-sayers who claim he only voted for union bills because of the ten of thousands of dollars he has received from unions.
Tony really believes in supporting the working men and women of this state!
